Hello friends and welcome back! It is time for yet another 6x8 pocket page process! Today I am showcasing some photos that I took of the downtown area. I tried to keep things simple since there were complicated photos involved. I also tried to keep a light color theme to help let the photos shine.
I'm again using Simple Stories pocket pages in 6x8 and 4x6 size. I have a full process video below chock full of detail, but of course will explain more tips and details down below! I hope you enjoy the process video!
This layout came together relatively smoothly. All of the Project Life cards used are from the Man's World set. These cards have a great color scheme of blues and greens. I used the subtle blue to add some color to this layout without distraction.
I decorated the left page with probably way too many puffy stickers. I used Maggie Holmes puffy stickers to create a little title. I decorated the same card with a Target puffy sticker and a cute little heart sticker. The adjacent pocket card uses a We R Memory Keepers label sticker and a Pink Paisless banner sticker.
The smaller page includes one smaller photo and one filler card. I again, wanted to keep this simple. I used a stamp from Whimsy Stamps to add some interest. I used Memento black ink to get a clear impression. I used some washi tape for a pop of color and layered some wood veneer on top.
This was another fun layout for my travel album. Are you all working on any specific projects lately? I would love to hear about them! I hope you enjoyed this 6x8 album inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
