The natural elements with the wood grain started from wanting to use the kraft alphabet for the title. I used wood buttons, and wood grain die-cuts to give it this natural feel. This also helps add a ton of dimension to a rather flat layout.


Overall, this is a heavy black, white, and red layout with accents of kraft/natural and green. I prefer green as an accent color in this particular color scheme because it is a subtler color in the photo.

I created another small cluster in the bottom left of the photo cluster. I added this little flair from Humble and Create that says 'sleep in'. I paired another resin flower in to this cluster to give more color to this corner of the page. I added a doodle border to the entire layout to make it feel more complete.

I used a few sheets of the Christmas papers to mat my photo. The bright red feels a teeny bit Christmasy, but you don't really notice unless you really look. The layers of tags and tabs gives it more of an office vibe and avoids Christmas altogether. I mixed in a few paper clips to give it texture and dimension.


I think the accents from outside of my kit really helped bring it together. I used some leatherette stickers from Pinkfresh Studio, a Paige Evans puffy sticker, and a Paper Studio acrylic globe. What really pulled the color scheme together however were the Christmas elements!


I think having a smaller title like this helps ground the page. It gives a place for your eye to rest and just be amongst all of the crazy layers and textures happening on this page. These stickers are from a sticker book I had picked up at Walmart! A great find!


Overall, I absolutely love how this page came out. It doesn't feel Christmasy at all based on first glance. I hope this inspires you to look at your Christmas supplies a bit differently and give this a whirl. Thanks for stopping by!

These tag cut aparts from the paper pad were instrumental in keeping the color scheme and cohesiveness of this page perfect. While I did introduce some other elements from other brands, these were the bases of the clusters on these pages. Since they matched the colors of the papers they were placed on top of, I made sure to use foam adhesive to give them some dimension.


Some of the final touches for these pages came from cream and natural colored elements. I opted for no white on this layout to keep the color scheme. The wood veneer definitely brought out more of the natural and rustic elements of the photos. A wood veneer title is certainly something I don't get to do often, but I love it! Those Momenta wood stickers were awesome!


Yes, those are letter stickers on top of my photos! Eek! I was nervous to put them there, as I had only done it a handful of times before, but I'm so happy I did. I struggled to find a place where these orange stickers could go since they so easily faded into the background. Then they ended up here, on top of the white space in these photos.

Hi there crafty people! Welcome back to another week of #SummerOfStories2019! Episode G is another pup themed layout, but on the terms of goofiness. I really adore how this color scheme came out and it's not one I work with often. I hope you enjoy this episode!



I think the "u r so cute" cluster might be my favorite. I think it looks so dainty and throwing all of the stickers on somehow didn't make it seem like a sticker sneeze! If you're having difficulty layering stickers, try throwing some foam adhesive under one of them to give it more dimension.


Remember that not all clusters have to be the same size. Smaller clusters can be just as impactful as some larger ones. And don't forget that you don't have to do crazy mixing and matching to create impressive clusters, one sticker set can do!

I think my favorite part of this layout are the diecuts that I pulled in at the end. The Pinkfresh Studio Be You ephemera were so perfect! I loved the copper accents to give the layout a bit of shine. And this quote works well on this page!

Happy Thursday friends! I'm back to share a new episode of Summer of Stories! Today we're exploring Episode D. Now, this layout is drastically different than the Episode C layout. This simplistic layout truly lets the elements speak for themselves. But it emphasizes the fact that the supporting elements still help drive the design.


As you can already tell, D is for Dome. I had the change to tour the Capitol Building on a visit to Washington D.C. It was one of the best tours that we ever went on in D.C. and it was free! I would highly recommend it. Check out my process video below for more details on the layout and the tour.

I am SO excited to share this page with you all today. I adore how all of it came together. The basis of this layout is an easy way to use your 6x6 papers. I hope you get to try it out soon. Now this layout looks really complicated, but it is a simple monochromatic color scheme. To simplify this style even more, I suggest starting with a plain cardstock base and skip the patterned paper. But if you're a pattern loving junkie like me, the more patterns the merrier!

Hey there crafty people and happy interNational Scrapbooking Day Weekend! I hope you all had plenty of time to craft in all of the fun challenges! I didn't get much crafty time in, but hopefully more today! I hope you enjoy this quick overview of all of the things I was up to this past week.

Hello again crafty people! Another week has come and gone and while I didn't get any craft time in during this week due to a business trip, I still shared a bunch of fun videos and projects.

The first project from this week was an old series making a return to my channel! I brought back real-time process videos to my channel! It had been quite some time since I had one, but when I launched my Patreon that was one of the main rewards for joining. However, I was able to film an additional one this month to share with everyone!
