The five things that I ended up picking were a 6x6 paper pad from Basic Grey's Wisteria collection, some Jolee's Boutique Paris confetti, a Recollections blue spray ink, a set of Recollections puffy cat stickers, and an Echo Park random star stencil. Now let's jump right into the process video!

This was a fairly simple layout to make with a simple diagonal theme and minimal layering behind the photo. I really liked the contrast between the bolder black elements and the soft pastel blues and greens.


I came to the conclusion to only have the two cluster elements because I didn't want to overwhelm the photo. The watercolor splotches on the background paper give the rest of the layout enough interest without taking away from the photo. I do however wish I had added some more green water color to the bottom right corner. As you saw in my video, I only used the blue spray for that.

This card starts out with a base of 110 lb. white cardstock cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4" on the long side. This is the size for a standard A2 sized card. Next, I cut this fun yellow-orange polka dot paper from My Mind's Eye to 5 1/4" x 4". This allows a small border along the outside edge. Then, I got into stamping!



To complete the card, I added a few of these white pearls on the top left and the bottom right. It adds some more movement to the card and adds some more elements. I included one large cluster on this layout and then two smaller ones. I based my placement of these clusters off of where I put my stenciled medium. I used a Heidi Swapp dot stencil to add even more texture to the layout. My right sided cluster is made up of some glitter stickers from Jolee's Boutique, a skull dimensional sticker from Jolee's Boutique, some Tim Holtz occasion tiny word stickers, some teal twine, some square black gems, and a chipboard star from Studio G. This is a very busy cluster and this is why my other clusters are a lot smaller than this one.


This smaller cluster in the upper left was mainly put here just to hold the date of the photo. I laid down a piece of orange washi tape from Jot to be a base for the Teresa Collins stickers on top of it. I wanted a little more in to the top cluster and so I included another glitter sticker from Jolee's Boutique, an orange gem, and some more of the black square gems. In this photo you can also see some of the splatters I included using October Afternoon Sprinklers in the color Comets Tail.


The title of this layout starts off using the same font stickers as the date which are from Teresa Collins. Then, I used this giant "boo" sticker from Studio G to complete it. The beautiful photos that I am scrapbooking were taken by my boyfriend. I really love it when you can scrapbook someone else's photo because it can give you someone else's perspective to inspire you. For instance, the reflection off of the piano is such a beautiful angle.


I hope you enjoyed this process video and I hope it encourages you to scrapbook someone else's perspective soon! As I mention in the video, I do the packaging technique on this layout with some gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine. It didn't turn out quite as well as I had hoped, In some of the close up photos you can see how the color seemed to seep into the cardstock. This is a perfect example of why you should use gesso so that the color stays on top of the paper like you wish it would!


I still really like the way this layout turned out in the end. I think it perfectly describes what I was going for. I wanted the photos to pop with their colors and the whole layout to really feel regal. I think that the vellum layer I incorporated adds some elegance as well.

This layout isn't as loud as the other one, but still has some fun elements! I haven't made a layout with a plain kraft cardstock background, so this was fun to work with. My inspiration for this layout was the previous one, but on a more muted scale. By selecting a very neutral background, it lets the colors, elements, and photos pop for more effect.


I used this amazing feather stamp from American Crafts to add some interest to the background. I selectively placed the stamped images to where I knew I would be putting some clusters. One of my favorite clusters on this layout is the one in the bottom right. The main focus is this little journaling box from Seven Paper. Then, to continue the color scheme, I added the same green Recollection enamel dots and the tiniest Studio Calico heart sticker. Peaking out from behind that is a strip of the diagonal bright green washi tape.


I opted for a simpler title on this layout since it will be next to the very powerful title (both physically and mouth-full wise) on the other layout.I decided I wanted a triple cluster ratio going on so I created this fun cluster at the top of the page. The die-cut banner is from K&Company and the tiny word sticker is from Simple Stories Carpe Diem.


Lastly, I created another small cluster featuring the stamps in the bottom right. This cluster features similar items, but this time includes a word sticker from Studio 116. My main tiger photo on this page has a paper mat made of Pebbles Garden party and then a dimensional aspect of the same cork used on the sister layout. That pretty much wraps up this page! I think often times we realize that we make more pages than we realize and I hope this is inspiration for you to create more sisterly type layouts in the near future! Thanks for stopping by!

As you can probably tell, this layout has a slight fall theme to it. It's got some deep autumnal colors including the red, mustard, and gold. Although I still don't have season specific photos to scrap yet, there are still ways to use all of these fun color combos year round. I especially like having the freedom to do whatever them I like with zoo photos (this photo seems to have a nature/wild theme to it with the leaves and such).


The background paper is from DCWV as well as the mustard and cork sticker paper I used strips of. The beautiful title is from Amy Tangerine's Thickers. I love how the gold pops off of the deep red background. A creatute as majestic as this deserves a just as majestic title. I started out with these elements, but knew it needed more. Then, I happened upon this journaling card from Elle's Studio and rolled with the punches by adding a few more green bits.


The bottom cluster is built off a base of washi tape from Ikea, a Tim Holtz tiny word sticker, a Michael's brand die cut ticket, an ampersand chipboard piece, and a Recollection's enamel circle. I rarely work with this shade of green, so to have these coordinating things in my stash was a match made in heaven.


Although this layout doesn't have an exactly autumnal color scheme nor does it have autumnal themed photos, it still gives the essence of fall without being overbearing. Not only do I love autumn colors, but I also love the feelings of fall. The feeling of comfort and warmth of hot drinks, soft blankets, and coming together with family. This layout doesn't exactly capture those feelings, but it does have the colors of autumn! I hope you enjoy this process video for this layout!



I didn't expect the layout to turn out quite as autumnal as it did, but I really like it. To start off, I took my Crate Paper floral and trimmed it down 1/2" on each side. Then, I matted the patterned paper on to this cream/brown colored textured cardstock from Colorbox. I think that this is a really great way to use up all of that cardstock in your stash! Sometimes a layout just needs a border to stay contained and not "run off the page" as some people say.


I matted the left photo with a blue ledger pattern from Pebbles Garden Party and the right photo with a We R Memory Keepers album card. Also, from We R Memory Keepers are the two mustard elements (the scalloped circle and the date banner). Under the title circle, I slipped in a doily and a burlap arrow from Simple Stories. In all of my clusters I included a few if these pearls from BoBunny's Modern Miss collection.

Today's layout features a cute 4"x6" photo of my cats sharing their cat tree. I love how it looks like they were posing for this photo! I really wanted this to be its own page because I thought this photo captured the size difference between the personalities of these two fur balls. I started off the layout with a piece of striped cardstock from the Craft Smith Sea Glass Paper Pad. The green color on the background really brings out the color of the cat's eyes as well!


I used a piece of floral paper from Pebbles Garden Party 6"x6" paper pad to mat my photo. To give more emphasis on the photo I tucked some fun foam under it. I did a lot of fidgeting around with all of the pieces for this layout. Once I had finally settled on a layout for all of the bits, I could mark where I wanted my stencil to show up. I used a Heidi Swapp cross stencil with some of the silver modeling paste. I ended up placing some of the stenciled pieces in three spots and I really like the gleam it adds to the layout.


To prevent my photo from feeling like it was floating, I wanted to give it a sturdy base. I used some of this silver polka dot washi tape to achieve that. I also included a pink rub on border from Basic Grey and an arrow die cut from Jillibean Soup. Then, the right side of the photo contains a cluster also resting on the washi tape base. I included a rub on from Studio Calico, a label from Pretty Little Studio, and an acetate die cut from Project Life.


The smaller cluster on the left hand side is actually a secret journaling spot! I tucked a small black diagonal striped bag underneath my photo to create a spot for a tag with journaling on it. I also included another little tag from Pretty Little Studio to balance out the right side in addition to adding more color to the left top corner.


Lastly, the title I used on this layout is made up of three fonts! The "2" is from a Sticko puffy sticker alphabet set. Then, "peas" and "pod" is made up of letter stickers from Studio Calico and the mini alphabet stickers are by Teresa Collins. I hope you enjoyed exploring this one photo focus trend! This layout uses papers strictly from the DCWV The Spring Stack. I begged my father to purchase this ginormous paper stack for me years ago when I was still in middle school and it still torments me today. It's 180 sheets of paper that I will never be able to use up. I'm slowly chipping away at it, but I also have a shopping problem, so that doesn't help. So, for this layout I cut some strips and placed them above and below the photos. I really like this combo of the green, orange, and blue. I don't use orange that much, but maybe I'll start using it more.


I don't have much clustering on this layout because it had so much going on, it didn't really need too many embellishments. For this cluster I sued a cut apart from the paper stack that said "fun", a diamond border sticker from October Afternoon, a plastic heart that matches the title, and a little label from Elles Studio. I used my Avery Elle tiny alphabet to stamp out their names in Staz-on ink.


These plastic alphas are actually from Recollections. They are a really interesting and fun medium to work with. I wish I had more plastic pieces to play with! I mimicked the bottom right cluster with a similar, simplified cluster in the top left. Since these photos of my cat and my boyfriend were taken outside of my house the "home" cut apart was a cute little addition.


To complete this rather simple layout, I added one more sticker which is a simple tab from Jot that says "noted". A lot of people underestimate what the dollar store may have for scrapbooking supplies, but this sticker that I got from there is so cute!
