How to Create a Kit from your Stash // #2 - PL Cards!

April 14, 2016

Welcome back for the second installment of how to create a kit from your stash! Today we'll be covering how to incorporate some of those Project Life cards we've all been hoarding. If you missed out on the first section of this series, you can check it out here! We'll wait for you right here until you get back!

Now, in this second part I will cover how I picked out some cut apart pieces and some pocket page cards out of my stash. If you don't have any PL items, don't worry! They are completely optional, just like everything else. All you really need is paper, so this is just extra goodies! I'll give you a pretty good explanation in this video, but if it doesn't make sense with all of my "uhms", I'll also have it explained down below!

Yay! Aren't PL cards so fun?! I think these are perfect addition to your kit because they are great for journaling cards, layering, and even for grid layouts! So, let's go through the steps one more time.

1). Start with color

It's easiest to start with the colors that you picked from your main papers. Don't have anything that matches? You can skip ahead to step 2!

2). Neutrals are great

I often find myself wanting to journal on neutral PL cards more than any others. So grab a few of those grid ones that you don't know why you have 1000 of! They are perfect for layering smaller photos as well.

3). Quantity

You honestly won't have a need for too many PL cards, so definitely don't go overboard on these. You want to be able to again use up your stash! Completely up to you on how many you include. You saw in my video that I actually included a bunch and that's because I really want to be able to use this entire core kit someday!

Thanks for stopping by for part 2 of this series! Part three is all about stickers! So, come back soon to check that out. As always, if you guys have any questions I'm more than happy to help!
