Project Share + Huge Crafty Haul! // Weekly Craft Project Round-Up!

April 21, 2019

Hey there crafty people! Happy Easter! I decided that I need to revive my blog and give it some more love! While I'm working on some longer form and unique blog content, I have decided that I will be doing weekly round-ups of all of the projects I have shared from the week! Let me know if you enjoy these types of posts and I'm always looking for more suggestions on what to talk about on my blog.

This week was a great week for sharing! I had 6 video tutorials to share this week. First up was Multi Photo Monday where I did a multi-photo 12x12 layout about my dog, Comet's vet visit! I loved using these new We R Memory Keepers papers. It definitely gave it a bit of a retro feel.

Next, I shared two videos on Tuesday! I had a haul video on my channel and a 12x12 layout process video on the SpiegelMom Scraps channel! I did some retail therapy/treat yo self shopping at Joann's, Michael's, AND Hobby Lobby! It was fun to get out of the house (I work from home) and have some fun shopping!

My project for SpiegelMom Scraps was so delightful! I adore this spring colored scheme using a multitude of things from my How To Kill a Kit With Style (HTKAKWS) kit for April. I am loving the 2 - 3 photos per layout lately. Don't forget you can use my code, Katelyn15 for 15% off your order at SpiegelMom Scraps!

Next, we jump to Thursday where I shared a 12x12 multi-photo layout process video with a color scheme that is completely WILD! In order to really capture the feeling of the museum, Ripley's Believe it or Not, I knew I had to do something a bit whacky. I loved being able to add the tickets from this day on to the layout. There's something so special about putting ephemera with the photos from the day. It's truly like a step back in time.

Saturday held a super fun process video that I was excited to share! It was the first double page layout that I had made in a while. I know that they are a scarce thing in the YouTube scrappy world nowadays, but I have a whole playlist of the ones I've shared so far that you can check out here if you're interested! This has been one of my favorite double page layouts of this year, but there are some other faves as well!

Today, Sunday, held a layout process video that I had been holding on to for a while now! I was part of a lovely Easter themed crafty hop! I wasn't 100% what to scrapbook about. I didn't have many photos printed about Easter. But I did have one. This is a photo of my mom from last Easter when we went to go get Easter candy from our local candy shop. This is one of the first layouts I've created about my mother since her passing, but it was very therapeutic. I hope you enjoy the story and the layout as much as she would have. Please head over to YouTube to check out the list in the description for all of the other lovely ladies who created projects for this hop!!

That's it for the week of April 15th - 21st! I thought it would also be a fun thing to do on these weekly round-ups is to share a sneak peek of something that is coming soon! So, here's a sneak peek of a layout that you will soon in the next few weeks!

Any suggestions for something you'd like to see differently or something to add-in to these round-ups, leave a comment down below! I'd also love to know what your favorite video/project this week was as well! Thank you so much for stopping by!
