I started by grabbing one of these really old Colorbox packs of paper (probably from the dollar spot) and picked out this fun floral. Then, I decided to mat my photos on some paper from a KI Memories 6x6 paper pad. After flipping through this paper pad I saw a beautiful floral cluster page and decided to fussy cut them out. These are the flowers you see on the outer edges of the photos.


Since I had dark colors in the photo and a somewhat dark background paper, I decided to add a pop behind the main photo with a cute doily. After deciding on the placement for my flowers I wanted to incorporate a few other things from my "vintage" drawer. This is the drawer in my craft room that contains all of the vintage themed things I've collected. I don't scrap in this style too often, so there's not much, but it's still lovely stuff. I found some Graphic 45 fairy pieces to include in my flower clusters and some pearl stickers.


I used some of these fun K & Company journaling spots with gold foil to add some layering and do my journaling. The title piece is a laser cut wood phrase from Michael's. To add a bit more shine and interest I used some gold sequins and tucked them into my floral layers as well. The black thread was a small addition to help add texture to the layout.


Since the title piece was wood, I decided I needed to add another piece to balance it. I used this wood veneer heart from Studio Calico alongside these perfect Tim Holtz tiny word stickers. I also pulled this little bit of lace from my stash to add under the left photo.


The layout started looking flat to me, so to fix this, I added some foam adhesive under portions of the flower clusters to create dimension. In this cluster I also included some gold striped washi tape from Target and a little heart punch.


To complete the layout I created some gold splatters using my Heidi Swapp Color Shine. I think that the splatters add a little bit of shine without being too overwhelming. I tried another new color combo for my scrappy taste, but love the way it turned out! Mint and pink is all the rage in washi tapes and probably other things too, but I didn't think I owned many things in this color scheme. Seems as though I found enough to make a layout! The weirdest thing is, this paper by Kaiser Craft is more about love than cats, but the color was too perfect not to use.


The papers I used to mat under my photo are from DCWV - The Sweet Stack and one from KI Memories. The gray diagonal striped paper is from Prima - Hello Spring and I used a Recollections border punch. This photo is just a photo of my kitten named Honey playing underneath the curtains. She's so cute! I think this is a good opportunity to challenge you all to get a photo from a different perspective. I laid on the floor for this one, but there's plenty of options to try out! I hope you get some fun photos!




To finish off this layout I used a rub-on from American Crafts and some bling above a fun title. The pink alpha are Amy Tangerine Thickers, the lighter pink alpha stickers are from K&Company and the white alpha stickers are from Sticko, I hope you all enjoyed this layout, It was a fun color combo to work with! It's another fine day for another video on my channel! This one was quite the doozie. I picked out 5 things and was super excited to use them. Then, one thing went down hill. First, I'll tell you waht I picked for my pick 5 challenge. I chose a teal ink pad, some white die-cut flowers, Freckled Fawn washi tape, My Mind's Eye Happy Place 6x6 paper pad, and some Jillibean Soup glitter chipboard alphas. Now, I dare you to guess what went wrong!


As you can probably now tell from the layout, the glitter letters seem to be almost non-existent (thank goodness for &). I opened up that package of letters and there were no c's, e's, or f's and I'm sure other letters if I looked hard enough, but I couldn't spell what I wanted to. :( In the video you'll see me sift through all of my other letter stickers to find something to fit. I'm still happy with the results and I did complete my pick 5 challenge!



This process video was a lot of fiddling around and I'm sorry that it might not have been that entertaining. I loved the way my ink blended flowers came out. These flowers are about 6 years old if not older and I'm finally breaking them out and using them!





The last trendy product I want to talk about are these itty bitty letter stickers and word stickers. Let me tell you, I don't think I could ever live without them again. Of course, I won't buy more until I've used a substantial amount of these ones (or a really good clearance pack). How do you all monitor your stash? The background paper I chose is from the Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer 12x12 paper pad. Then, I chose this fun blue pattern from the Sea Glass paper pad from the hot buy section at Michael's. After I had my papers chosen, I pulled out this sticker sheet from Crate Paper that had all these Easter/Spring time themed stickers in it.



This cluster is so beautiful. The light coming from my window made it so soft. The beautiful flowers I have had forever. They are by Little Yellow Bicycle (is that company still around?!). I love how these flowers had some stitching details and dimension.


Then, for the bottom right cluster I layered some stickers. This cute egg shaped one is so perfect! I also used a scrap of the photo layer paper to make a quick little banner to ground the stickers. By "ground" I mean to make sure the stickers don't seem like they are floating around on the page.


As for the title, I used...you guessed it! More stickers. It was too perfect not to use them! But you all should be proud of me since I didn't use a doily on this layout like I do on every other layout haha. That's it for this layout! I hope you all enjoyed. Hi again everyone! I've got a vibrant layout share for you all today. This is one of my favorite pages so far from my Disney album mainly because of all of the colors, but I'll get into that later. Here's an overview of my layout.


These colors are beautiful together! I love the red, mint(?) and gold! In case you are wondering, this photo of my boyfriend and I is at a beach near Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral. This was the morning that we boarded our Disney cruise. Yes, we all had matching t-shirts and yes I made them myself! Also, beware these shirts cannot go in the dryer people!


I only created two main clusters on this layout which really balanced the page. I know it seems like everyone follows the rules of threes, but it's okay if you don't all the time! The bottom cluster features a chipboard sticker from Michael's, two chipboard pieces (star, and speech bubble) are from EK Success, the little flag is by Basic Grey (along with the background paper), the flower punches are from EK Success as well. Then the papers I used to punch out some of these things are by Echo Park the Happy Days collection and American Crafts.


Have I told you how much I love these gold script Thickers by Amy Tangerine?! So gorgeous! I found mine at Tuesday Morning, so for all of you that need some enabling here's your sign! I decided to title this "meet me in the sunshine" because this was my first time to Cocoa Beach and our first time vacationing together. I cannot wait to go on another trip with him and to share with you all of my pages of our other adventures. To incorporate more gold into the layout I grabbed my gold Heidi Swapp color shine to add some splatters.


Then, for the final top cluster I used a wood veneer by Basic Grey, a cloud die-cut from Shimelle, a transparency piece from Basic Grey, some red enamel dots from Michaels, and then some of the same things from the other cluster. I also used some Echo Park paper to layer my photo on. I prefer my journaling to be hidden, so I snuck in a Recollections tag under my photo.
