12 x 12 Layout // SU Game
February 16, 2016
Hi there! Welcome to my blog! Today I have a fun layout that I'm sharing with you. This is one of my favorite layouts I have ever made and I hope you like it too. These photos are of my boyfriend and I when we went to an SU basketball game on New Year's Eve. If you see a particular product that you love be sure to check out the links at the bottom of this post.
This background paper is by American Crafts and is part of the Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer line. I began with this piece of cardstock and some navy blue acrylic paint. I wanted to thin out my paint, so I mixed it with a little bit of water and used a wide flat brush to add some paint to the background.
All of my layering papers behind my photos are from Studio Calico's Hey Day or the 5th & Frolic line. I really loved this orange and blue palate that I choose.
The title is made out of two different fonts. As you see most of my layouts contain two different fonts. I just really like the look of mixing fonts and it's a great way to add interest to your layout. The orange stickers are from my stash, not sure on the brand. The white foam stickers are by Thickers and love how they add dimension. I also have a cluster of some sequins, gems, and stamps. The arrow stamp is stamped in black memento ink and the stamp is from a set by Heidi Swapp. The "this was rad" stamp is a roller stamp by Dear Lizzy.
I created another cluster on the bottom corner of this photo. The heart 3-D sticker, the buttons, and the orange trim is from the Michael's dollar section. The translucent stars are from Heidi Swapp.
This other cluster at the top left of the layout consists of most of the same things. Some of the extra things include the tag from Shimelle diecut pack and some twine also from Michael's. That pretty much finishes up the layout! I hope you enjoyed and the product list will be below! Thanks for stopping by!
