VIDEO: Day at the Park // Pocket Page Process
July 16, 2016
Hi friends!! Today I am sharing another pocket page process video with you all. This one features some fun photos I took of my dog at the park! I hope you enjoy it and here's an overview of the layout.
The majority of this layout is made using the mini Project Life card kit that is man themed. I believe they are called something like Man's World. This goes to show you that themed cards can definitely be used for other things! Here's how I came up with this page!
Wasn't that fun?! It was kind of a long video this week, but I hope you enjoyed it! Now onto more details! At the bottom of this post is where you can find some of these products!
As I said earlier, I used Project Life - Man's World cards on this layout. this journaling card features a blue vellum tag from Studio Calio and a wood veneer piece from Basic Grey. I also added some of my thin washi tape from the dollar store on the right hand side. I also added a Studio Calico geo-tag chipboard piece and some Webster's Pages tiny alphabet stickers in the lower left hand corner. I've really been into putting the location and date on my layouts because generations down the road they will want to know where the photos were taken hopefully!
The other two bottom pockets feature some blue Heidi Swapp tiny word stickers. On the card adjacent to it, I used some Tim Holtz Holiday Themed tiny word stickers. The giant white pearls are from Jolee's Boutique. Then, my adorable little felt mushroom is from Oriental Trading!
To finish off this gray chevron card I used this beautiful Studio Calico rub-on that I got in a grab bag. It is the prettiest color! Then to balance this card I stuck on a little wood veneer bird also from Studio Calico. The top of this layout also features a card with a heart die-cut from Elle's Studio and a green felt heart from Oriental Trading too.
Last, but not least is the title card - which is still lacking a title! I am waiting on some letter stickers in the mail to complete the title on this layout. I used a doily to add some texture to this green card and then used a die-cut from Chatterbox (the blue one) to have a spot for my title. I used another wood veneer bird, some black thread, washi tape, and another white pearl. I also used in the top left corner a banner sticker from Studio Calico and another Tim Holtz word sticker! I hope you enjoyed this pocket page layout. I love, love, love the color scheme!
