I started this layout by grabbing four 6x6 patterned papers. I used pieces from Crate Paper's Notes and Things, KI Memories' Berry Celebration, Pebbles' Valentine's Day Collection, and Prima's Pastel collection. Mixing and matching papers is so much fun for me. Once I had them picked out, I cut them into 5 inch frames. Feel free to make your frames any size you would like! This layout has a base of gray paper from Oriental Trading. It is super thin, but I love this shade of gray. I laid my frames into a diagonal pattern, but you can do so many different arrangements! Maybe I'll do an overlapping one next! For the red frame, I decided it was a little too plain. To add some pizzazz, I used my Amy Tangerine piercing kit to add some hand stitching. It is by far from perfect, but I like it.


Then, I worked on the bottom left cluster. I started with an Elle's Studio tag die cut, a We R Memory Keepers floral die cut from their Flower Girl Collection and a chipboard piece from Dear Lizzy. These are the main components of this cluster. I also added a Cosmo Cricket clear sticker, two Jillibean Soup word stickers, and a couple Echo Park enamel dots from their Metropolitan Girl collection.


I balanced the bottom left cluster by creating a cluster to the right of the photo. This cluster revolves around another We R Memory Keepers die cut. I put this one on some foam to give it dimension. I used another Cosmo Cricket clear sticker to tie in the other one. Lastly for this cluster, I added more matching enamel dots.


You'll never guess what one of these layers behind my photo is! The polka dot pattern to the left of the photo is actually a piece of packaging from the Target dollar spot. I loved the polka dots a lot and they matched my color scheme well. So, I used that, a yellow scrap, and a Freckled Fawn doily to make a beautiful photo layer set.


To complete this layout I needed a title! This one perfectly describes the photo and aligns with the journaling I added later. I started with a "favorite" sticker from Jillibean Soup. Then, I pulled out a set of pink chipboard/canvas American Crafts thickers to spell "toy". Finally, I used Heidi Swapp glitter letter stickers to spell "her". This layout came together fairly quickly for it being something so different than anything I've ever done. I hope you enjoyed another 6x6 Fi episode! Thanks for stopping by!
