I really wanted to use some of my detailed trims that I have laying around, so I did this! It hangs just off the side of the front flap. I think it makes it unique to other cards. On top of the base, I put on my layers. I used white, yellow, and orange cardstock cut to various sizes. I would tell you all of the sizes, but I don't really remember. Adding these layers makes the card pop!


I used a stamp set from Whimsy Stamps and it has a lot of fruit puns! It is so, so cute! I started by stamping their circle label stamp and then punched it out with a Fiskars scalloped circle punch. It was the perfect fit. Then, I used a yellow Whisper ink pad to stamp my lemon. I realized after making this card that I really need a better yellow ink pad. If you have any recommendations for the perfect yellow please let me know! I took some orange embroidery thread and bundled it up beneath the main element.


Lastly, I layered a piece of patterned orange washi tape beneath my sentiment strip. This washi tape reminded me of citrus fruits, so I thought it would be a great addition.
