Easy DIY Graduation Themed Tags

July 03, 2014

For those of you that read my DIY Gift: Brownie in a Mug post, this goes along with it!

In that post you saw a tag that had all the directions on it, but you however did not get to see the decorated side of the tag!

This Graduation Themed Tag is really versatile, the possibilities on expanding this idea are truly endless as I will go on to explain later.

First you'll need a few supplies:

I have for mine:
Tags - no clue what size they are, doesn't really matter
My little Owl Stamp by Hero Arts
Color Box ink - Black
Some sort of glue runner - Mine's from walmart (Elmer's brand, which I believe they have stopped carrying)
Those realllllllly tiny pieces in the topish right are grad hat confetti

First I stamped my little guy onto the tag (attempting to center, but not really succeeding)

Then I attached a little grad hat for him!
Now to take this idea to a further level, you could even attach a little party hat, or a clown wig...I'm not really sure how many types of confetti there are, but this is truly an easy way to make a mass amount of something...confetti is cheap!

This is by far one of the cutest things I've made, plus you'll get several compliments for your genius idea muahaha, how marvelous!?

I hope you try this little guy out, it's just so simple, but cute!
