Graduation Thank You Cards!

July 22, 2014

I hosted my graduation party a little bit ago and to make every thank you a little more meaningful I decided I would hand make all of my thank you cards. Not only will people love this idea, but they'll love the effort you put into a simple thank you.

If you're not a crafty person or don't think you could make so many, depending on your situation, here are a few examples for either your close family/friends or if you don't trust yourself with glue or glitter.

The first step is having supplies for your cards. Now if you're going to a craft store, don't go overboard! Yes, there are a lot of different options, but all of your cards can be made from one paper pack and a sticker sheet or stamp set.

Here's a few variations of cards using the same papers!

To start off these cards are all 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". Notice that this is half of an 8 1/2" by 11" sheet of paper. It's the most economical way to use this size paper.

For example this card uses two 1" strips with banner like trimming which I did with scissors and then a thank you sentiment stamp from Inkadinkado.

This one again, uses the 1" strips, but in a stair step pattern. Another stamp from the Inkadinkado set.

This one, quite simple again, uses two one inch pieces. The blue is 1" by 5 1/2" and the other is 1" by 1" block. The stamp is again from the same set.

This flower I hand cut from the sheet that had the blue paper I had been using. Then another strip with the sentiment.

All of these simple cards will really make your thank yous stand out from everyone else!
Now, don't forget to write a truly nice, sentimental thank you inside!

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed!
