VIDEO: Pocket Page Spread // Wonder Works Page 1 Process

June 21, 2016

I have an exciting week of videos planned for you all! It's a three part video series where I show you how I'm documenting one event! In total there will be three videos two full page pocket pages and then an insert. I hope you enjoy them! Today I am sharing the first pocket page!

Sorry that the photo seems to be a bit washed out, but I used a Becky Higgins Project Life brand page protector with four 6x6 pockets. As you'll see in the video the background is the same sheet of paper, but the opposite sides! This paper is from Studio Calico that I received in a mystery grab bag. I love, love, love this blue paper and so happy I cut it up to use.

I hope you enjoyed the process video, now I'll go into some details about products and little tidbits about our adventure!

These die-cuts from Elle's Studio are to die for! They are amazing quality and colors and I want to buy more! The ones I used on this layout are from the Thankful bits and pieces pack. It didn't exactly match the blues in the papers or photos, but it still went with the overall scheme.

If you haven't been to a Wonder Works before it's so much fun (especially for children or children at heart). There's different interactive exhibits at each one, but one of our favorites was the space section. We got to ride in a gyro-sphere! It was crazy to spin every which way. To capture this space theme, I used some wood veneer stars from Studio Calico, some yellow bits and pieces, some half pearls in blue and white and some light bulbs.

I received these amazing Simple Stories Carpe Diem word stickers from Crafty Steals and I love them so much! The labels I used on all of the layouts this week are from Elle's Studio as well. I incorporated some fun gray start stickers from Pretty Little Studio that you probably saw in my Instagram haul a while back!

I am just so in love with how the first page came out that I had to film the rest of them for you, so be sure to come back and check out the other two pocket pages I created this week! Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure to tell me what some of your plans are for the summer and how you plan to document them! (As a disclaimer, this event took place earlier this year. I am not that fast at printing and scrapbooking!) I hope you enjoyed!
