Ted's Daily Life // 12x12 Layout Share
August 30, 2016
Happy Tuesday everyone! Yesterday, definitely did not feel like a Monday at all! But, I got some scrapbooking done! There's a lot of fun things in the works and I think you'll all enjoy them, so be sure to come back for more inspiration! Today's layout captures some of the daily things my cat does.
My cat, Ted, is a funny cat. He is the largest of our two cats, but his largeness doesn't fit his personality. If I had to guess, the term "scaredy cat" was named after him. He gets very nervous and scared very easily. He of course hates the vacuum and anything loud for that matter. His favorite past time would probably be sleeping or chasing cat treats. If you recall, I made a similar page to this one covering my other cat's daily routine.
I don't make many masculine layouts at all, not just because I am bad at them, but because the men in my life don't always enjoy getting their photos taken. Is that a problem with you ladies? How do you get more photos of your guys? I'll hopefully be working on some more masculine layouts soon to get some more practice in.
I have had this background paper in my stash for a while, so I'm not exactly sure where it's from. I also managed to stash bash some of these fun darker green floral stickers and frames. I have had these forever (no idea what company made them) and I'm so glad I got to use some of them! I included other elements as well, including a fun cork patterned border sticker from Crate Paper Storyteller collection, some Scotch lattice washi tape, and a large wood veneer tag.
I mounted my photo onto some fun foam to give it dimension as well as using a small polka dot paper to create a border. The 6x6 paper as a base for the 6x6 photo is by KI Memories. I used a Teresa Collins 3x4 pocket page card from her Hello My Name Is line to create my title. I just used some Webster's Pages Painted Passport mini alphabet stickers to customize it.
To complete this layout I broke out some white felt flowers and some of my dark brown sequins. Because nothing says masculine more than sequins! Then I used my Heidi Swapp Color Shine in the color Tea to add some more distress splatters to the background. I hope you enjoyed this layout! Thank you so much for stopping by!
