12x12 Layout Share // Photo Bomb
August 25, 2016
Hello everyone! It's time for another layout share! Today's layout features two photos and a simple, but fun color scheme! As always, my layouts tend to be very simple and this one is no exception. Here's an overview of the layout!
These photos don't have a huge story behind them, but I'll tell you a little bit about it. My boyfriend adores when my kitten sleeps on his shoulder. This time while he was taking photos with her, I managed to get in some of the photos as a photobomb. It was cute and fun!
I used some cut apart pieces from the Ambrosia 6x6 paper pad by Kathy Davis. This includes the little piece that says, "love with your whole heart", the heart stamp, and the little border piece on the right hand side of the photos. I decided to also incorporate some flower wood veneer pieces across the layout. In the top right cluster I put some rounds of teal twine and a Heidi Swapp tiny word sticker. In the bottom left hand corner of my layout, I used this top note shape die from Spellbinders to cut out a journaling spot from a piece of scrap gray paper. Besides the previously mentioned items, I also added a My Mind's Eye date label on to this cluster.
To complete the entire layout, I decided to sprinkle around some clear sequins. Then, of course, the last thing I did was create and add a title! So I went with "photo bomb" since it went along with the story of the photos. These alphabet chips are from American Crafts. I hope you all enjoyed this fun and simple layout!
