14 Days of Love // Valentine's Day Gift Idea!

January 19, 2016

I know it may seem a little bit early for a Valentine's Day post, but you'll want to get a head start on this meaningful project. Love is in the air, especially around the day of love! Instead of just one day to shower lots of love, surprise your significant other with 14 days of love. Now it's really a matter of preference how big you go with each day. You could progressively give more and more love with a large present on the last day. Or you can take my inspiration and give a card with one thing you love about your partner everyday, then the gifts on Valentine's Day! Either way it's up to you, but love is all that matters and anyone even your best friend would enjoy this idea.

To complete my 14 days of love for my boyfriend (and hopefully he's not reading this), I made 14 different little 3" x 3" note cards. I made mine out of kraft cardstock, but you could also use a different color if you prefer.

For each card, I hand cut out each of these little candy hearts. Sadly, there are not 14 different sentiments, so they will repeat a little bit, but he'll love them anyways. The candy heart paper was part of Target's dollar spot line last year and I'm glad I got it!

For the scalloped circles, I used my Fiskars punch to cut them out. The scalloped circles are paper from the DCWV Sweet Stack. Another great stack to use for Valentine's Day without being super Valentine's-y.

Then, I used two more of the papers from the Target pack for my backdrop. Looking at them again now, they really scream Easter to me. We'll see where that inspiration takes us!

That's it for today's post! I truly hope you enjoyed my 14 days of love idea and let me know your Valentine's Day plans in the comments!
