SK 12x12 Layout // Using Texture & Dimension

January 14, 2016

There is no greater joy than finally finishing a project you started so long ago and also completing your first layout of the year! Woohoo!! Although I did start this page a while ago, hence the fading on some of the papers (it adds aesthetic), it still got lots of love.

I honestly will always love black and white photos, plus blue is my favorite color and that's what inspired this color scheme.

My love for gray and doilies also took over this layout. I think doilies add the perfect amount of texture to a layout, but I also like the use of overlays, staples, and found objects.

These scrabble tiles are actually from a swap, so no I didn't take them out of the game, but someone did haha! I also found this adorable acetate heart that I laid beneath them to give it some grounding.

None of the materials used on this layout were new. I really enjoy having to try and mix and match different papers and embellishments because that's always a fun challenge for me.

Again with the doilies, I must be addicted or something. The camera patterned paper is by My Minds Eye from a 6x6 stack.

That's it for this post everyone! If you have any questions at all please let me know! Thanks for stopping by!
