Love You Card // Pocket Page Cards into Greeting Cards

September 14, 2017

Hello folks! Today is another simple card share, but it's another take on how to transform your pocket page cards into greeting cards. I take a pocket page card that is pretty plain and transform it into a sentiment that works! This is a typical A2 sized card which means that it is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" in the end product.

I used 110 lb Kraft cardstock as my base. Then, I used a piece of patterned paper from Crate Paper to create  fun background. I believe it is from the Notes & Things collection. I cut this piece to 4" x 5 1/4" so there would still be a small border around the pattern.

My main focus on this card is this tag and pocket page card combo. The tag behind it is from Recollections and adds a nice pop of bright white and some more delicate detail. I layered the pocket page card on top of the tag to provide contrast. The pocket page card is from Recollections as well which can be found at Michaels. I wanted to make this card work for me, so I expanded the sentiment from just "love" to "love you" by stamping. This little stamp is from Lawn Fawn's Meow You Doing stamp set.

I find these cards super simple to put together and another great way to use up some of your pocket page cards you've been hoarding! I hope you enjoyed this project. Thanks for stopping by!
