VIDEO: "December Daily" Pocket Page Process // Oh What Fun
December 23, 2017
Hello you crafty people! I hope you're still holding on during the holiday rush! This is my last video before Christmas! I hope you all are enjoying your holiday celebrations with your friends and family. While you're reading this I am most likely at home cuddling my cat and spending time with my family. Today's project is another set of pages for my December Daily album.
Please forgive my photos that seem a little too vibrant or overexposed. My new photo editor in this computer is very frustrating. I wish I had photoshop on all of my computers! Anywho, this double page layout is super simple, but a nice showcase of the traditional holiday colors. I hope you enjoy the process video!
The right hand side is a 6x8 base made out of DCWV patterned paper. As you might know I have been desperately trying to use up this ginormous paper pad. I am featuring a photo of Sam and I with a white doily underneath the top and then a cluster at the bottom.
This cluster came together surprisingly easily. I started off by pulling some Elle's Studio cut apart pieces including the "merry & bright" label and the star border. I knew I wanted something under the Echo Park chipboard piece and decided to get a little creative. I took an Elle's Studio pocket page card and cut this beautiful floral wreath and trimmed it out of the center of the card. I love how this layered element came out!
On the left hand page I have two filler cards. The top one on the left is actually the title card and it is again from Elle's Studio. I decided to dress this card up a tiny bit by adding a strip of washi tape along the bottom from Recollections. To add dimension I sprinkled on a couple of my enamel dots from Echo Park.
The last card is my journaling card. This card again is from Elle's Studio (surprise, surprise). I put a couple of enamel dots on top of the presents for a little extra pop. I hope you guys enjoyed this project! Thanks for stopping by!
