Double Layout Share! // Corn Maze Fun & Long Acre Farms

May 31, 2016

Hi crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day and that you're ready to be inspired! I've got not one, not two, oh wait, yeah just two layouts to share with you today! They basically go hand in hand, but are two completely separate occurrences.

The first layout I have for you is from a trip we took to Long Acre Farms which is a family fun farm where they have tons of activities to enjoy. One of our favorites was the corn cannon even though neither of us hit the target! The background paper is from the Basic Grey Fact & Fiction 12x12 paper pad and this was a very busy piece of patterned paper. I struggled with this layout for a long time. I kept it simple so I wouldn't overwhelm the photos.

I used a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" kraft cardstock as a base for the photos and title. The title is made from two different fonts because I didn't have enough red letters! The little kraft font is from Studio 112 and the red font is from KI Memories. I matted the photos on various sheets of papers from my stash to give them a solid base.

The final touches for this layout is the curvy green border sticker from October Afternoon, the doily from Wilton, and I made some lines around the kraft cardstock with a pen and ruler. I hope you enjoyed that one! Product links will be at the end of this post! Onto the next one!

This was a fun layout to make. Since we went to a corn maze I figured why not use a corn inspired background paper. I picked out this Basic Grey Fact & Fiction polka dot paper for my background. These photos are from when we went to go pick out pumpkins for Halloween, but it was so unusually warm out! So, we decided why not do a fun little corn maze too?!

This cluster was fun to make as it seemed to just put itself together. The cloud die-cut is from a Shimelle die cut pack and the chipboard piece is from Dear Lizzy. That shade of green from the chipboard piece perfectly matched the border sticker I used on this layout from Oriental Trading. I then added a Martha Stewart kraft butterfly and used my Dear Lizzy roller stamp in some Chestnut Roan ink by Colorbox. I had mounted my photos on some white cardstock and then used this dark brown chevron patterned paper from Colorbok to add some contrast.

A very generic title for this layout made out of two fonts yet again (surprise, surprise). The little letters are from Cosmo Cricket and the kraft letters which are very crooked in this photo (don't worry I fixed it) are from Target! I hope you enjoyed this double layout share! I had fun completing both of these interesting layouts. Definitely kept it clean and simple. Be sure to leave me some comments on what you think and check out the product links below!
