A super fun layout share for you all today! I love, love, love the way this layout came out! To be honest, the title may be my favorite part and it was the last thing that was added, haha. This background paper is from Basic Grey and their Fact & Fiction collection.

What's that I see there?! Ribbon...on a layout?! I know! Can you hardly believe it? I should've made a process video for this layout because I can hardly believe that I used ribbon on a layout for anything other than putting it through the loop of a tag, but here we are! This pale green ribbon is quite beautiful. The ribbon perfectly matched the inspiration piece for this layout (which is the little banner from Basic Grey). I decided that laying the ribbon flat across the layout wouldn't give the dimension I wanted, so I used my hot glue gun to make some pleats. This is a really fun technique that I haven't used in a while. I then made a little cluster of stickers and wood veneers.



I always think that it's really funny when the title is the last thing I put on a layout. Most of the time I already have a title in mind, but this was not one of those times. The black block letter stickers are from Oriental Trading and the white sticker that says, "is always a good idea" is from Studio Calico. This was in a grab bag that I purchased from them. Some really cute word stickers on the sheet that this one came with!





This adorable banner, like I said before, is from Basic Grey and their Fact & Fiction line. I'm so sad that many designers seem to be shutting down. I know that a lot of small stores are too. I had the chance to go to a not so local scrapbook store the other weekend and it was phenomenal. You can catch some of the pictures I took there on my Instagram! I am slowly using up these fun flower die-cuts from Studio 112 (they were only 50 cents a bag). One of my favorite things to do when clustering is to add dimension to one or two of the die-cuts. It just makes them stand out a bit more.

This photo might capture my favorite portion of this layout. I love how this cluster ended up turning out and it was my first time stamping on cork! I was really nervous about what ink to use, but staz-on did wonders! The stamp is from Creative Memories, the itty bitty word stickers are from Teresa Collins, cork speech bubble is from Oriental Trading, and then all of the wood veneers are from Studio Calico.
