Kitten Just Wants to Have Fun! // 12x12 Layout Share - Mint & Pink Theme
June 28, 2016I tried another new color combo for my scrappy taste, but love the way it turned out! Mint and pink is all the rage in washi tapes and probably other things too, but I didn't think I owned many things in this color scheme. Seems as though I found enough to make a layout! The weirdest thing is, this paper by Kaiser Craft is more about love than cats, but the color was too perfect not to use.
The papers I used to mat under my photo are from DCWV - The Sweet Stack and one from KI Memories. The gray diagonal striped paper is from Prima - Hello Spring and I used a Recollections border punch. This photo is just a photo of my kitten named Honey playing underneath the curtains. She's so cute! I think this is a good opportunity to challenge you all to get a photo from a different perspective. I laid on the floor for this one, but there's plenty of options to try out! I hope you get some fun photos!
I have been trying to use up my stash and this adorable ribbon is from a RAK I received from soooo long ago. I added a fitting Tim Holtz tiny word sticker next to it. I used some of my dollar store thin washi tapes to create a border along the bottom of the page. The cluster in the top left of the layout is made out of a fun acrylic block that says love, some washi, and a stamp from American Crafts. I also stamped a small crown from Studio G.
I always tend to slip a tag in between my layers to hide my journaling because it's never built in to the initial design. It still works and cute twine makes a part of the layout. As for these fun die-cuts, they are from K&Company designed by Brenda Walton. The little acrylic flowers are also from an old RAK. I don't know why I've never used them before. They're so darling! Have you been using your old stash? I'd love to see some layouts! You can tag me on Instagram @GrayFlorals!
To finish off this layout I used a rub-on from American Crafts and some bling above a fun title. The pink alpha are Amy Tangerine Thickers, the lighter pink alpha stickers are from K&Company and the white alpha stickers are from Sticko, I hope you all enjoyed this layout, It was a fun color combo to work with! Thank you so much for stopping by!
