Hi Lovely // 12x12 Pastel Layout
February 09, 2016
Hello everyone! Thanks for coming by! I have another layout for you today and in case you might not have known, one of my goals for 2016 is to scrapbook a ton more. So, be prepared for more scrapbooking posts!
Today's layout is a very simple one and uses scraps, woohoo! I've really been addicted to always grabbing my Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic 6x6 paper pad and my Studio Calico paper pad. These two really can go hand in hand if you pick the right papers.
The background paper is by Colorbok and this title is made out of two different sticker sets. 'Lovely' is made out of some white Thickers by American Crafts. The other part , the 'hi' is a 3-D sticker by Michael's. The arrow is also from the same set.
My favorite part of this layout are the little banners that I cut out. This is a really fun way to use your scraps! It creates dimension, interest, and a focal point for the layout.
Both cut-apart pieces on this page are from the same paper pads that I used for the rest of the layout as well. I used my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to add some metal detail.
Overall, I really loved how this layout turned out. For the journaling spot I created, I used a Fiskars 1 1/2" scalloped circle punch. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed!
