VIDEO: Layout Process Video // Ugly Sweaters

February 06, 2016

It's another beautiful day for a new process video! I hope you're enjoying these because I am having a BLAST scrapbooking again! I don't know why I ever stopped! Although it is February, I scrapped this Christmas layout anyway. If you're wondering what products I used and where you can find them I'll have some links at the very end of this post for where you can find what's still available. Now onto the details!

I hope you enjoyed the process video! There are more details and info below!

This 12x12 layout starts out with a background piece of cardstock that is a beautiful shade of green from Darice. Then all of the other patterned papers on this layout are Stampin' Up! because a friend sent them to me and they were too cute not to use. I layered different papers up around the photo of my boyfriend, Sam, and I in our Christmas sweaters.

Then I started to work on the title. I began by cutting a piece of kraft cardstock to give some ground to my photo and title. I then pulled out this beautiful wood and glitter piece by Project Life. I added some extra details by using an EK Success border punch on the right hand side and adding some twine around my wood piece. The title for this layout is "Ugly Sweaters" even though mine isn't ugly, but I thought it was cute. There are two different fonts here, one from Studio 112 and the other from Heidi Swapp.

I added some extra small details in the top left corner. The punch I used to create the negative of the tag is by EK Success. The sticker arrow is from Heidi Swapp and the sequins and jewels are from my stash. I used my Tim Holtz tiny attacher to add some detail as well.

I really like my journaling hidden for some reason. I guess I just never really liked the look of my handwriting. This white tag by Recollections, decorated with some red and white baker's twine is perfect to keep my journaling. I also added another Heidi Swapp gold sticker.

This final bit here is just another cluster of sequins, stickers, gems, and paper. All of the fun product details are down below! Thank you so much for stopping by!
