VIDEO: Using my Homemade Kit // Process Video #2 - hello

May 07, 2016

Happy international scrapbooking day! While you all are hopefully enjoying all the festivities, I will be working 7am-6pm. It's the biggest event on campus and I've been planning it all semester. I wouldn't leave you all hanging though! Here's a fun layout I made using my homemade kit. :)

If you haven't seen my video series on how I created my own kit, you can check it out here! My process video is below with an explanation to listen to, but I'll have it explained in text too.

This is a pretty simple layout for me. My background paper is from Basic Grey and this cut apart Project Life card is from the Happy Edition core kit.

I ended up using some embellishments from Dear Lizzy, Heidi Swapp, and Basic Grey. I love these gold foil stickers, but I've been trying to finish up using them and there are SO many!

If you follow me on Instagram you can catch sneak peaks of layouts and also some inspiration on how I use different things. I absolutely love adding texture to a layout and I talk about it a lot on there. I used my gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine to add some gleams of gold as well.

That's it for this layout folks! I hope you enjoyed this process video. My cat's name is Ted in case you were wondering and he loves every layout I make of him. Thanks for stopping by!
