I used this fabulous paper in conjunction with some white cardstock to create a 12x12 background. Once that was completed I used another pattern from the Minty Lace stack by DCWV to mat my photo. I also pulled out a square Freckled Fawn doily. I knew I wanted to pop my photo up on some fun foam as well.


After flipping through the stack, I found some papers to back behind my photo. I also found some fun cut-aparts to use. Some of these include the ampersand piece and the adorable piece. To create a border between the patterned paper and cardstock in the background, I used two strips of washi tape a and a fun black border. I think this is a great way to provide contrast and keep the layout cohesive.


I created two fun clusters, one in the top left and one in the bottom right. The top left consists of a fun polka dot circle and some fun embellishment layering. I took a banner piece from the Fancy Pants Office Suite collection and layered it with a cut out from the DCWV stack. I finished off that cluster with some enamel dots, resin flowers, star stickers from Pretty Little Studio, word stickers from Seven Paper and a wood veneer asterisk. The bottom cluster is made of a Wilton doily. some more Fancy Pants tags, a chipboard love, then more final embellishments that are found in the other cluster as well.
