Good Times // Pocket Page Layout Share!
October 18, 2016
Hello guys! I'm sharing with you today a pocket page layout using photos from my last trip to the zoo. I hope you are all liking the variation in posts! If you'd like to see more cards, 12x12, or anything else let me know what you like to see best! This was a really fun layout to make featuring some of my favorite photos of these two lemurs interacting! It was an amazing experience to witness.
The main paper cards used on this project are from the Project Life Man themed kit. I really love the blues and grays from that set. Then, to add some fun interest to this page, I used a Project Life transparent card in the middle. It is from the Kraft & Gold Mini Kit by Project Life.
The title card for this page gave me some troubles in the beginning. I m very accustomed to using horizontal slots for my title cards so this was a different format to work with. I used a blue Recollections doily to add some more color. On top of that I included a Project Life Instax divider to give the title somewhere to rest. The "good times" is from Amy Tangerine's thickers. To add a few more elements I included a Studio Calico die cut circle, a SC wood veneer camera, and a Project Life wood veneer asterisk.
I had quite a few filler cards on this layout and they were fun to make. This one in particular has a vertical theme. I started with a base of black polka dot washi tape. Next to that I stamped a Heidi Swapp arrow in Staz On black ink. Layered on top of that is a die cut from Michael's. I added a few tiny elements to round out the card including a tiny puffy owl sticker, a Tim Holtz tiny word sticker, and a Studio Calico pearl.
Another filler card below actually corresponds well with the title card. I used the left over tidbit of the doily from the title card on this filler card to give it a connected feel. I also used another SC label, a tiny owl, and some more washi tape. On this card I finished it off with some black enamel dots from The Paper Studio. If you're looking to purchase any of these products I will try to link them all down below!
Of course I need to also add the location of this event and I snuck that in on this little card. I used my Tim Holts tiny letters stickers for that. I also really loved how the blue on this Project Life Kiwi Collection flair matched the blue doilies almost perfectly! I hope you all enjoyed this pocket page layout! How often do you scrapbook photos without people in them? Thank you for stopping by!
