I started this layout with a color that I am not usually partial to. I used this bright peach textured cardstock from Colorbok. I had this simple photo to scrapbook with a simple message. Overall, I wanted to keep the layout simple. I decided to do some easy mixed media on the background. I used some white acrylic paint to create texture. I used a wide flat brush and made some strokes on the background.
 My title and journaling for this layout are again. simple. I used Studio 112 alphabet block stickers for the title. Then, beneath that I used a plain black pen to write out my journaling. I also included just a couple of embellishments for more interest. I used a tiny heart punch out to bring in some more orange. I also included a brass arrow embellishment for more emphasis.


Lastly, I included a small white Wilton doily to provide more shapes on the layout. I hope you enjoyed this simple layout share. Sometimes a good simple layout can really spark some creative mojo. Thanks for stopping by!
