Hello friends! Welcome back to my crafty blog. Today, I have yet another card video tutorial! I hope you've been enjoying these videos. I decided that since I love card making so much that I should try my hand at sharing more of my creations with you. I made a bunch of thank you cards for people who helped me for my graduation as well as those who got me gifts for graduating this weekend. I wanted something bold for these cards and I also decided to use some newer to me products.

All of these cards are very similar and would also be great to use as a gift set. Plus, they're so bright and colorful that anyone who received them would smile. I utilize a couple of my new distress ink mini cubes to achieve all of these bold colors. I know distress inks are known for crisp stamping, but that's okay too. Let's jump right into the card tutorial!


So, as you saw in the video this is a really versatile and flexible card. There are so many stamp sets on the market that you could do this way that would be just as beautiful. I chose to use my Martha Stewart floral stamp set to create these backgrounds. I used two different sized flowers for variation in the pattern, but if you only have one flower it will still look great!


The first card I am sharing with you uses Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade to give this autumnal look. I also used a pair with Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet, as well as Candy Apple and Carved Pumpkin. Mixing and matching all of my colors together was so much fun. There are so many possibilities with these distress ink sets.


All of the cards are A2 sized which means they are 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The stamped layers are slightly smaller at 4" x 5 1/4". My sentiment stamp is from Michael's which I stamped on white cardstock and then layered with coordinating colored cardstocks and a doily.


To complete all of these beautiful stunning cards I used gems or sequins to add more shine. I also like dimension on my cards so I used sheets of fun foam to raise the entire front panel of the card from its base. I hope you enjoyed this fun card tutorial.
