I must admit, that since this was my second tulle shaker card it went a little bit better than my first. I do have to admit that tulle is very, very hard to get it to adhere to anything. That being said, I am still experimenting with the best method. So far, tear tape is the best bet. You just have to be sure to really push down the sandwich to make the best pocket. I started my card by stamping a fun background using a beautiful floral stamp in some Colorbox ink. I then used my Spellbinders circle dies to die cut some windows.


Once those were cut, I used a wave die from Impression Obsession with some blue cardstocks to create waves. I layered these together and then fitted them to the circles. I then created my card's custom sequin mix! This mix is a variety of manufacturers which includes Kat Scrappiness, Neat and Tangled, and Darice. I went with a blue, clear, orange, silver, and white color scheme.



After the sequin mix was ready, I started to adhere the tulle to the back of my card front. I used tape adhesive and liquid adhesive in special spots. I grabbed a piece of DCWV cardstock that looked like sand and cut it to fit the background of my card. Once everything for the components was together, I put the sequins in their places and sandwiched it together.



Once the main base was put together with a sandwich in the order of card base, background paper, sequins, tulle, and card front in that order, I could decorate! I featured these beautiful fish from a My Favorite Things stamp set called Sea Life. I stamped my little friends in some orange inks from Whisper Inks. I used my stamping tool in order to get crisp and full stamped images.
