XO, Better Together - 12x12 Layout Process // Episode X - Summer of Stories

August 22, 2019

Episode X of Summer of Stories is here! It's hard to believe we're already on the last moments of Summer of Stories, but we'll make the most of it!

This layout was a crazy one! We had stamping, we had mixed media! That's like all of the hard things! I hope you enjoy watching me work through the process in the video down below. It wasn't too hard, but it wasn't a walk in the park either! If you'd like to see more of this process, check out my Patreon where I uploaded te full real-time version of this page!

Stamping on a beautiful piece of background can be intimidating, but just remember that you can always, always, cover it up! Whether that's with more paper or stickers or embellishments there's always a way to fix a mistake! This went pretty smoothly even with a few poorly stamped spots or extra bits of gold modeling paste. I'm overall happy with the results.

I do say that my embellishment clusters somehow turned in to one giant photo embellishment cluster, haha! I do still enjoy all of the small stickers and sequins and elements in between that make the layout look cohesive.

I do hope you enjoyed the episode and taking a peek at these up-close photos! Don't forget to grab your free printable Episode X Story List down below!
