Sending Warm Hugs // Card Creations
February 15, 2018
Hi crafty people! I'm not going to lie, this card is a little bit old. It is a holiday card back from early January, but I still wanted to share it. This is actually made with remnants from the card I shared here on Tuesday. The hexagon diecut is Canson XL watercolor paper blended with Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry distress inks. The hexagon die is from Echo Park.
My base is made out of Kraft cardstock cut to A2 size. I used a piece of patterned paper from Crate Paper for the background. It is an awesome square background that adds an extra geometric feel. I cut it down to 4" x 5 1/4".
The best part of this card is this adorable stamped image from W Plus 9. I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to lightly color this cute pair. I simply trimmed them out and glued them on to this hexagon.
I stamped the matching sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and glued it to the bottom. To finish off the card I used a blend of sequin colors in purple, lilac, and light blue. I hope you enjoyed this holiday card in February! Thanks for stopping by!
