VIDEO: Graduation Chipboard Mini Album Process // Pages 7 + 8
February 08, 2018
I'm back again with another mini album update! This might be my favorite spread in my entire graduation album, but they're all pretty great if I do say so myself. The photos really dictate the page for this spread. Let's jump right in!
The left page is the classic photo of me with my diploma after graduation. This is the one iconic photo from every graduation ceremony. I decided to pair this photo with some of my favorite papers from the Craft Smith Co paper pad. I think the pairing of the navy and peach color scheme works really well for these photos.
I also really like the small detail from the doily sticking out from the previous page. Next to my photo, I paired a small banner from a scrap piece of patterned paper and. a small cluster of resin flowers. Some simple embellishments for a simple photo.
The right hand page features a nice photo of my family and I. I wanted this photo to stay large because its important to the story. This page is actually light purple cardstock. Since the photo is quite busy, I wanted a very plain background. The purple works well with the blue shades. I decorated the edges with some washi tape from American Crafts, stickers from Pink Fresh Studio, and of course more resin flowers!
I finished both pages off by sprinkling on some white enamel dots. I hope you all have been enjoying this mini album mini series on my channel! Putting all of these process videos in one would've been far too long. I can't wait to show you the entire thing in the flip through video! Thanks for stopping by!
